Amari Simpson supports and oversees strategic initiatives and leads professional development to promote inclusion at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ.
They hold a Doctor of Philosophy in Education Policy, Organization and Leadership from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Their doctoral thesis examined the long-term impact of a pre-college STEM program on former participants' academic and career trajectories, highlighting how these programs helped them overcome self-limitations and gain critical exposure to STEM resources.
They also earned a Master's in Curriculum and Teaching in Secondary Science Education from Boston University School of Education and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Middlebury College.
