The National Science Foundation has granted Ģ����Ƶ $500,000 to upgrade its high-performance computing cluster, accelerating research and undergraduate education in Ģ����Ƶ’s STEM departments and beyond.

A new 65,000-square-foot basketball and volleyball arena will anchor a new athletics quadrangle at Ģ����Ƶ, replacing the Reid Athletics Center. Construction of the facility, part of the University’s Third-Century Plan initiatives, is slated to begin in February.

Ģ����Ƶ recognized 730 students for earning an A.B. degree, plus 6 master of arts in teaching and one master of arts, during Commencement Weekend 2024, May 17–19. Financier-turned-human-rights-activist and author Bill Browder gave the commencement address.

During its spring meetings, the Ģ����Ƶ Board of Trustees approved resolutions regarding faculty promotions to associate professor with continuous tenure and to full professor, as well as appointments to named chairs — all of which will take effect July 1, 2024.

Ģ����Ƶ Residential Commons will welcome new co-directors at the beginning of the 2024–25 academic year.

New York Times correspondent David Sanger, a three-time Pulitzer Prize winner, visited Ģ����Ƶ on March 26 for a lecture and discussion about his new book.

Ģ����Ƶ will host an episode of Ivory Tower April 17 in Ģ����Ƶ Memorial Chapel.
